    HI,

What I would really like is a small digital camera that has lots of memory and exceptional zoom capablilities, but that also works as a GPS unit which automatically records location information in the information section of the image (and which also has other standard GPS features). I've been putting off purchasing a GPS mostly because I don't really want another gadget... but I'm getting close to where I wouldn't mind replacing my digital camera and it would be neat to be able to do both at once. My current digital camera is a Minolta Dimage Z1 which is a little on the bulky side (I carry it while hiking/scrambling and so the smaller the better!), but it has lots of nice features. Any info or advice would be most appreciated. (I realize I might be asking for too much in one gadget, but you can't blame me for dreaming a little!)

    Please help.

    HI,

I have now decided the traffic on my Garmin Nuvi 2569LMT-D WE is total pants or Very Mad I was in Belgium on Friday, stuck for 40 minutes around Antwerp with my system telling me there were no delays. After said 40 minutes, I was advised there were delays of up to 25 minutes!!! No sh*t Sherlock On the Sunday in Holland, there were road closures for roadworks (not temporary), again not picked up by the unit causing total confusion. On the way back, after being told there was a clear route, held up at Antwerp again. Today travelling to Bacup was given a clear route, even though stuck in the traffic. Notification finally came on, but there were other incidents today it also didn't pick up and I had to use Waze instead. This is a regular problem for me, but I have put up with it. It is coming to the time I think about buying another unit again and Garmin are the only ones who will offer me my POI support (with images), but I don't want to waste money on a unit with traffic as unreliable as it currently is. I am wondering what other peoples' experiences are of the Inrix via a cable on their systems

    Please help.

    HI,

Recently, I picked up a cheap, refurbished, LTE-enabled 2013 Nexus 7 to use as a carputer/GPS/whatever. Having had the WiFi version of that same tablet since launch, it's a familiar tablet to me. When I received it I got it updated to Marshmallow (it still had 4.3 on it), and the next day installed a SIM for LTE connectivity. LTE is just fine; exactly as I'd expect with Ting (on T-Mobile's network) around here. That's not a problem. The problem is the GPS reception. Where it takes my Nexus 5X a couple seconds (at most) to lock onto a GPS signal, it regularly takes this Nexus 7 in the 10s of seconds. Once it gets a signal, it loses it pretty regularly, even when there's good line-of-sight to most of the sky. When it does hold onto that signal for a while, it regularly shows my location as ~50 yards east of where I actually am.Can anyone recommend a way to diagnose and/or fix the GPS issue? There's a park with an open field down the block from home. I think I'll take all of my Nexuses* down there and compare GPS accuracy all at the same time.
(I've got my current 5X, my old 5, and both the WiFi and LTE versions of the 2013 Nexus 7.)

    Please help.

    HI,

I am curious to know whether the specification for Wi-Fi provides any mechanism for sharing geographic location, in any form? If not, are there any other 'standardised' methods for sharing geographic location of a network device, which doesn't require a central database of some form?

    Please help.

    HI,

At present I have the v693 Kate and v691 Simon on my Go,
the v710 Kate and v700 Simon in my Home Downloads folder, and the entire Go930 Loquendo folder (from the links above) elsewhere on my PC. Does anyone know how to work out the version numbers of this last lot, before I put them on the Go, and without moving them into a place Home can see them? There's no obvious text file although some of the files have names like "EnglishGb6.9.atm" etc.

    Please help.

    HI,

I'm really annoyed by the sierra GPS sensor . I only got it working successfully twice! Most of the time the AirCard GPS Monitor (R12.0.1103.3) says: "supported device could not be found/initialized" (translated from German).Sometimes, I can get it working by reinstalling/repairing the software - sometimes - interestingly, when I deactivate the "Sierra wireless NMEA Port" the monitor says "ready" ??? - but can't get any satellites.Does anyone got this running properly or having same problems?

    Please help.
