Hallo,
ZitatThe shareware program GarTrip ( http://www.gartrip.de ) fails to read tracks acquired by GarTrip if the erroneous date is before the year 1990 - then the Garmin time counter reaches a negative value which GarTrip cannot handle. I've been corresponding with the author of GarTrip about this, and now he's made a fix to this problem which will enable GarTrip to load tracks from buggy Geko 201 units. The fix will be present in the soon-to-be-released version 2.10c of GarTrip: an extra popup menu appears when obviously buggy time data is read from a track (either a negative time count, or a date more than 1 year into the future), and the user will be asked for the correct date if known - then the time data is corrected by adding or subtracting an even multiple of 86400 seconds (one day) to the time data. This should fix the broken time data in a track from a buggy Geko 201.
